ARMOR X10gx -
New rugged tablet computer from Mettenmeier
Mettenmeier GmbH is proud to announce the new, ultra rugged ARMOR X10gx Tablet PC for the utilities, surveying, GIS, agriculture and forestry fields.
Paderborn, October 2011 – The ARMOR X10gx is the successor to the successful “Colibri X7 protect” from Mettenmeier Mobile Solutions and sets a new standard in the survivability and performance of mobile computing. The X10gx is also our lightest tablet ever, at just only 2.2 kg including battery, making it is easily manageable and thus predestined for unproblematic use in mobile fieldwork.
Its further qualities include an ultra rugged chassis, certified to the MIL standard 810G and IP 67. Its hot swapping feature makes it possible to replace the batteries during operation, without the need to switch off the device.
The ARMOR X10gx promises amazing sunlight viewability with an exclusive energy efficient 10.4” LCD display. This high intensity backlight screen is offered as dual mode, supporting both pen and touch input. It also comes with a 2 MP camera. In addition to fast access times the solid-state drive (high-speed Intel SSD) provides best failure safety and protection for even your most sensitive data. Another positive feature: the new device comes with a price advantage of approx. 20% compared to the Colibri series!
The show goes on… Mettenmeier GmbH will continue to place the highest value on service and support. The company also offers configuration and development of the ARMOR X10gx, e.g. in terms of the integration of wireless total station functions or Topcon's GNSS precision module.
